Romit Mehta leads product management of data and analytics platform products at Disney. In this role, Romit is working to simplify access to complex data infrastructure on premises and in the cloud, while keeping the data platform compliant with regulatory, legal, and privacy laws locally and globally. These platform products help improve data scientist, data analyst, and data engineer productivity and help manage the chaos in the ecosystem through implicit access, consumption, and cost-related guardrails.
In his multi-decade career, Romit has built data and analytics solutions for a wide variety of companies across the networking, semiconductor, telecom, security, fintech, and entertainment industries. Outside of data products, Romit spends his time with his wife and two teenagers.
